The days are now longer and warmer. The Ashwagandha that we planted in our greenhouse on February 28 is beginning to sprout. Ashwaganda means "the smell of a horse," indicating that the herb imparts the vigor and strength of a stallion. We will harvest the ashwagandha roots in late fall and prepare an invigorating tonic from it.
Fall seems like a long time from now. Now we are busy working on the farm's website. Hopefully we can share it with you in two weeks.
Elad is working on the drying room (pictures will be posted).
We are still signing people to this coming CSA season. Please help us spread the word and direct people our way.
